Kami Gunderson, owner of Kam Med Spa, is a registered aesthetic nurse with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and more than 10 years specializing in aesthetics. Her diverse nursing background includes critical care and labor and delivery, but her passion for aesthetic medicine began while working alongside a dermatologic surgeon, assisting with cosmetic procedures and Mohs skin cancer surgery.

Since then, Kami has refined her skills in plastic surgery practices and medical spas, receiving extensive training in cosmetic injections. She takes great pride in providing exceptional, personalized care to each patient, both longtime and new, and is deeply dedicated to helping them look and feel their best.

Shannon is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings over 15 years of nursing experience, with the majority of her career spent in the operating room. She brings a compassionate approach to patient care and a strong commitment to health and wellness. Shannon is devoted to making sure every patient feels valued, respected, and empowered to have a voice in their care.

Her passion for medical aesthetics and wellness comes from a rooted desire to help people look and feel like the best version of themselves. She values building trusting relationships with her patients and providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual goals.

Outside of work, Shannon is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves exploring new restaurants, staying active-playing tennis, watching Wisconsin sports, reading, enjoying live music, and spending time outdoors. She also loves spending time with family, friends, and her cat-Nola.

Alyssa is a Licensed Esthetician and Beauty Specialist with six years of experience in customized facials, waxing, lashes, permanent makeup, and bridal beauty. She developed her expertise by working closely with clients to create personalized beauty experiences that enhance confidence and self-care.

Outside of the spa, Alyssa enjoys exploring new restaurants, teaching dance, and spending time with family, friends, and her animals. She brings that same energy and dedication to medical aesthetics at KAM Med Spa, focusing on treatments that combine beauty and wellness. Passionate about helping others feel their best, Alyssa is committed to guiding each client through a personalized journey toward glowing, healthy skin. Alyssa will be providing services at our Oconomowoc location.

Dr. Kenneth Dembny is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in aesthetic medicine and surgery. After earning his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he completed a general surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and advanced fellowship training in plastic surgery at The Ohio State University. Throughout his career, Dr. Dembny has been recognized for his meticulous technique, commitment to safety, and ability to achieve results that look natural and enduring.

As Medical Director at Kam Med Spa, Dr. Dembny brings his extensive expertise to guide the spa’s approach to patient care and treatment offerings. He is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where each patient’s goals are heard and respected. Known for his thoughtful, individualized care, he emphasizes treatments that enhance confidence and deliver results that feel authentic and timeless. All treatments and wellness programs are overseen and directed by Dr. Dembny to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.
